TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PROBLEM OF RESPONSIBILITY OF MINORS FOR WAR CRIMES

The author gives a general description of transitional justice and its forms. Particular attention is paid to the activities of truth and reconciliation commissions. It is noted that they are a platform for interaction between all parties to the conflict, obtaining information, understanding and rethinking it, which can contribute to general reconciliation. Analyzing the activities of the commissions, the author notes certain shortcomings in the final results of their work and the limited nature of their use in relation to minors suspected of committing war crimes.
