Scientific electronic journal UNIVERSUM JURIS

The founder and publisher of the journal is the Urals State Law University named after V. F. Yakovlev (previously Academy). Certificate of registration EL № FS 77-56 480 issued by Roskomnadzor, December 24, 2013. ISSN 2588-0497. From September 2018 journal is in Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

UNIVERSUM JURIS is a peer reviewed open access journal.

The journal is indexed in «Russian Index of Scientific Citation».

The format of the journal has changed since 2024. He's focused now on publishing the results of scientific research for students and professors of the consortium of Russian universities implementing the master's program «International Protection of Human Rights».

The main headings of the journal are: the United Nations and the protection of human rights, Regional international mechanisms for the protection of human rights, Protection of the rights of refugees and internally displaced persons, International humanitarian law.

Editors have vast experience in  successful preparation of two scientific journals: «Russian Juridical Journal» – scientific and theoretical information and practical journal with 20-year history, indexed by EBSCO Host, Ulrich's ™, ERIH PLUS, RISC; «Electronic Supplement to the "Russian Juridical Journal"» – electronic scientific periodical for young researchers and the platform for discussion of new scientific ideas, indexed by Ulrich's ™, DOAJ, RISC. The new edition will help to realize ideas that could not  be achieved within the framework of existing projects.

All articles are published upon Open Access Statement, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited. OAS means also that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
